Summary

In Chapter 9, Kingdom by the Sea, Emma and Mark arrive at the place Mark says is the convergence. It is near a cave by the beach. Julian calls on Emma's cell phone and she tells him where they are, but the call then drops. They find belladonna plants around the entrance of the cave. Mark goes inside and Emma follows. They find a cave with a glamour spell protecting a center circle, and Mark retrieves a wallet from the circle, though Emma cannot see anything in the circle. They hear something outside and find huge demon insects blocking their retreat. One destroys Mark's motorcycle. Emma gives Mark a blade, and instructs him to name it, which he does. They fight but are in danger when Julian appears, standing on top of the car Christina is driving. He fires off bolts, killing the insect demons...
