Chapter 85 Summary

Naomi sits in her room, losing her last remaining bits of sanity. She has just hallucinated Cross killing Casanova. Casanova has not been seen in two days. She worries that something has happened to him. Perhaps he has been caught or shot. She senses that something has changed about the situation. Naomi is desperate now and tries to call out to Kristen, the green-eyed girl she briefly spoke to before. She speaks, but no words come out of her mouth. Naomi is afraid of breaking the house rules. It occurs to her that she is so desperate she could kill Casanova herself. She shouts out for Kristen and Kristen calls back. Naomi tells her that their only hope is for all the girls to jump Casanova the next time he calls them together. Perhaps one or two of them would be hurt, but...
