Summary
In Chapter 33, Katie told the group that she had met the Baroness at the nursing home where her grandfather lived. She had been surprised when the woman asked to be called by that title because her grandfather wanted to be called the Baron. One day Katie decided the two should meet. She said the two met and fell in love. In order to solve the problem of the ancient will, they planned to get married and leave everything to each other in their wills with the requirement that what was left be split equally between the families when both of them died. Katie’s grandfather, however, died before they could get married.
Katie said the Baroness called the notary with the intention of changing her will but the death of the Baron had sent her into a tailspin and she no longer appeared...
