Epilogue, One Year Later Summary

The Epilogue, "One Year Later," is not shown from the view of the Spectre and Norman as the rest of the book was. In "One Year Later," Clark and Diana stop in for lunch at the Planet Krypton restaurant in Metropolis. The staff dresses as super heroes as part of the restaurant's gimmick. The establishment is decorated with various super hero paraphernalia to follow the restaurant theme. Both Clark and Diana are amused with the surroundings although Clark is a little unsettled by it all. They find a seat and are obviously waiting for someone. The guest they are waiting for is someone they want to surprise.

As they wait, Clark worries that he and Diana might be recognized as Superman and Wonder Woman. He is wearing a plaid shirt, jeans, and his traditional Clark Kent disguise...
