The next two days, Liam hardly makes it to school for the announcements. On the second day, he reads the announcements without any enthusiasm. He makes adlib comments about how all he wanted was to be unpopular and how the lunch room never offers a vegetarian option. After announcements, Darleen comes to Liam's locker.
