Chapters 29 and 30 Summary

Liam arrives at school the next day trying to think of an academic club he can join, like he told his father he was doing on the phone the previous night. During the announcements in homeroom, Liam watches as the members of the AV club present on the screen. He remembers how his dad was a member of the AV club so he decides to join.

In the cafeteria, Liam passes up the option to sit with Jen and her friends to sit with Raymond and Simon from the AV club. When he asks how he can join, they tell Liam the club is full. Liam indirectly threatens them and they tell him to be here in the morning at 8:30.
