Chapters 19 and 20 Summary

Before Liam steps into the shower, he looks at his reflection in the mirror. He is looking for some trace of his father in his looks but all he sees is his mom. When Liam boards the bus, he tries to trip a few times to look uncool. When the kids start talking about his uncle's band, Liam defends their drag queen status as being glam-rock instead. When the goth girl on the bus gives him props for standing up for his uncle's band, she hands him a cigarette. This causes the bus driver to slam on his breaks, kick Liam off the bus and peel away—leaving Liam in a cloud of dust.
