Chapters 13 and 14 Summary
Pete and Liam don't find the papers, so Pete says he'll enroll Liam in school tomorrow. Pete goes back to bed because he works nights at the radio station. When he wakes up, he sees Liam lounging on the couch watching TV, so Pete suggests they do something together. Liam mentions running. Pete goes to change and Liam runs into Darleen outside. Liam invites Darleen to run with them, mentioning it's great cardiovascular exercise and will help her lose weight. Darleen takes it as an insult, says she's not fat and walks back into her trailer. Pete comes out in a terrible spandex outfit and they start running.
During the run, Aunt Pete, as Liam refers to him, is struggling, so Liam slows his strides. They talk about Orlando being Pete's boyfriend. Liam wants to know why they don't live together...
