Chapters 7 and 8 Summary

Liam's mother drives him to Golden Meadows, the trailer park where Uncle Pete lives. She gets out of the car beaming as she greets Uncle Pete and the other guys that are with him outside of his trailer. Liam stays in the car and he notices a girl and her father going inside the trailer and laughing after the dad says something to his daughter as they look in Liam's direction. Liam bites his lip until it bleeds, but his mother doesn't notice.

Uncle Pete tells Liam to get out of the car and come meet the guys. Sarah stays for over na hour, talking about the good old days with Pete and his band. She tells Liam about the night she met Liam's father.

After Sarah leaves, Pete's friends start to leave too. Pete tries to get them to stay...
