Summary
In “Early Adulthood, 2001-2011,” Jiyoung went to college and strived to get good grades. Because of the recession, most students worked several jobs and had no financial support from their families. Jiyoung lived comfortably with her parents and only worked four hours a week as a tutor. Jiyoung joined clubs and learned she liked socializing and was not as introverted as she once believed. She started dating a boy who she was in hiking club with. A new apartment complex and a pediatric hospital opened up next to her parents’ shop space, so they opened a porridge shop that started making lots of money.
