Summary

In Chapter 16, Harry gave Alexandra the paper towel Røed had used to blow his nose and asked if she could analyze it for him. He also wanted to know if it came from the same person as the saliva on Susanne’s breast. He promised to take her to dinner in exchange for the information.

Chief Superintendent Bodil Melling met with Ole Winter, Kripos’s senior inspector, and Mikael Bellman, the Minister of Justice, to determine if there was some way to stop Harry from investigating on Røed’s behalf. Bellman advised them they could not stop the investigation, but they could keep a close eye on Harry and end the investigation when he broke the rules.
