Chapter 21 Summary

Stunned they leaned against Roscoe's fender in the parking lot. Finlay wants to stay behind and help but Jack drags him out. In the station again, Jack shows Finlay the printout. Finlay catches the backwards motto as well. They know that their best bet is to find Gray's files. They go down to the file room, and find the meticulous records Gray kept. The file on Kliner is not there. In the space for Kliner is a file load of random reports. Jack realizes Gray wouldn't have given a personal weapon to Roscoe. It could only have been an excuse.
