Summary

In Chapter 7, Billie has to fall to the floor in a yoga pose to stretch her muscles after killing Brad. Helen questions this use of Billie's time. She counters, saying her lower back is seized and she might need to move later in the evening. She hates that she is cranky, but she also hates that the “cool, reliable, unflappable” Helen is “well and truly flapped” (70). Helen cannot diffuse the bomb. They put Brad's body in the closet, spray the room with cologne, and leave with the bomb. Back in their cabin, Helen says she has aged dramatically since Kenneth's death.
