The Urn

The urn Vic carries around contains his dad's ashes and represents the last of Vic's dad. The ashes are a physical reminder of his father's memory. In his dad's last letter, he asked his wife and son to deposit his ashes at five places: a tattoo shop, The Palisades, the roof of his parents' old house, a church wishing well, and from the top of Rockefeller Center. Each of these places is important because it holds a special memory that he and Vic's mom shared together. The urn is a way for Vic to be with his dad in these places and to share this moment with his parents. The quest of the urn is also a way to help Vic let go of his dad.
