Chapters 6-10 Summary
In Chapter 6, Brad spends extra time at work at HomeMakers, overseeing an upcoming expansion project. Brad's background is discussed. Like Jordan, Brad had left Pleasant Valley for greener pastures. Brad's reasoning was to learn about the family business so he went to New York for six years. It was the right move for Brad.
Brad and his father, B.C. Vane III do not always see eye however both are excellent businessmen. Brad has great visions for HomeMakers.
Brad stops by the Valley Dispatch to see Flynn. Flynn had toyed with the idea of writing about the Daughters of Glass but knew that in order to protect the innocent, it should be fiction. That is Jordan's territory. Both men agree that the story should be told.
