Justine

A young woman who is very sensuous and who captures the heart ad attention of many men. She marries at a young age but the relationship falls apart. Justine seems somewhat self-centered with a great deal of energy focused on her own sexual needs. For example, her husband writes about her and says that he never really possesses her because her mind is always on another lover.

One day when she and her husband are driving, Justine points out the man who apparently holds her heart. This is bound to make her husband jealous but she seems not to care. Justine captures the attention of the narrator and the two have an affair though both are already in a relationship.
