Joni Eareckson
Joni (pronounced Johnny) is named after her father, Johnny Eareckson. The true story of Joni Eareckson entitled, "Joni," is the account of her life after a tragic diving accident that leaves her paralyzed, a life-long quadriplegic. The reader is privy to her harrowing transformation from a healthy, athletic, happy 18-year-old to a wheelchair bound young woman who will never have use of her arms or legs again.
