Taylor Markham
Taylor Markham is the pretty, seventeen year-old protagonist of Melina Marchetta's novel "Jellicoe Road". Abandoned as a child by her mother, and never knowing her father, Taylor is prone to depression and anxiety, as well as emotional distress. She is elected the leader of the Underground Community for the territory wars against the Cadets and the Townies, and is in a leadership position in her own dormitory house.
