Summary

There is a storm raging outside, so the whole family is trapped inside the house. Alcira and Nefer bicker over who has to clean up the mess from Alcira's cooking for Nefer's ironing. It seems as if everyone is set on edge. Outside on the patio, Juan practices guitar. When Mamá insults his skills, Nefer defends him, saying that he is only still learning. As Nefer is ironing, Alcira begins to fry the buñuelos she made, making the whole house smell like frying oil. This instantly makes Nefer feel sick, and she tries to think of the animals outside and the ironing before her to keep from throwing up.

Alcira says the buñuelos taste funny, and makes Mamá try them. Papá comes over too, and says they taste normal. Alcira tries to get Nefer to taste test, but she refuses. Mamá tells...
