Ben is flying to Derry. Ben stares out the window and begins to remember some of the details of his childhood. Ben remembers the day school let out for the summer. Ben runs out of the building to get away from Henry Bowers, because he knows Henry blames him for the fact that he will have to go to summer school. During the final exams, Henry asked Ben to allow him to cheat, but Ben refused so Henry failed. Ben makes it out of the building and goes to the library, one of his favorite places to go.
