March Summary and Analysis
Dorie comes to sleep over on March 2nd and they talk about whether Dorie used protection. On Monday, Nancy spends a nice day with Dorie and her mother. On the 5th, Lew and Nancy see each other again. Lew kisses her and she really wants to have sex with him. She thinks it will be beautiful and wholesome with Lew. A few days later, Dr. Sheranian tells Nancy that because she already has a weak immune system, she will progress to AIDS faster than usual. She has an eye infection and the medicine that cures it conflicts with her AZT, the medicine that slows the progress of AIDS so she must choose.
