Summary

In Chapter 31, Allysa tells Lily that regardless of how much Ryle is involved with Lily’s pregnancy and motherhood, it will be the best time of her life.

In Chapter 32, Lily has been putting off telling her mother about Ryle because she fears her mother will try to convince her to take him back. Lily is afraid she is not strong enough to withstand the temptation.

Lily first tells her mother that she is going to be a grandmother. Jenny is excited, but she can tell Lily is not completely happy. Lily does not give her mother a good deal of information, but she tells her that Ryle has hurt her more than once.
