Larry’s Figurines
Larry’s Figurines symbolize his desire to be remembered in a place such as Night Vale where history and memories appear to be unreliable and in constant flux. Rather than entrust that his legacy will be passed on through children or grandchildren, he builds his dioramas and figurines as physical manifestations of the life he has lived, as well as the life’s work he will leave behind once he is dead. Larry is so willing to risk his own life to save his figurines when the sinkhole begins to swallow his home because he equates his creations with his life itself.
