Malink and Sebastian discuss the dead guard, with the chief telling the doctor that Tucker killed the man and sailed away with Sarapul. Sebastian orders the guard buried. Meanwhile, Tuck tries to navigate the boat, unsure of where he is heading. Roberto arrives and tells Tuck which way to go. Vincent appears shortly thereafter and tells Tuck that the natives are building ladders.

In chapter 58 Sebastian tells Beth that their partners are flying another pilot in the next day. Beth does not seem concerned at all, and predicts that Tucker is already dead at sea. Sebastian is not so...
