Summary

This section, pages 174 - 222, starts with Sean running into Josh after Josh and Lena had thrown rocks in Mark’s window. Sean takes him to the station where Josh begins to confess the truth about Katie and Mark. The perspective changes to Lena as she remembers to herself the history of Katie and Mark. She and Katie had a secret game where they tried to seduce teachers, or simply make them blush and uncomfortable. They both tried to do the same with Mark Henderson but he had soundly rejected them. One day Josh tells Lena he had seen Katie and Mark together, and when Lena jokingly confronts Katie over text, Katie tells her to delete the text immediately. Katie confides her secret in Lena, and that her secret relationship had been going on for months.
