Chapters 18 and 19 Summary

It's Jimena that knocks Serena to the ground and releases Zahi's control over Serean's mind. The girls' moon amulets glow white and shoot purple light beams to allow them to break away from Zahi. Serena tries to save Morgan, but she is in a trance-like state dancing with Zahi to music only Morgan can hear.

Jimena says she got a premonition when she touched Serena's forehead back at the house. That's how she knew Serena was in trouble and needed her help. Serena tells Jimena she saw the Atrox. Serena also says she wonders if it is easier for them to give in to the Atrox so they wouldn't spend so much time fighting the Followers. Serena says that being on the dark side is not that bad.
