Summary

In Chapter 29, Chava nervously reunites with Irma at her hotel. In Chapter 30, Nayeli and Tacho continue their road trip to Illinois. They visit Estes Park. Nayeli meets a man in the park who teaches her to fish. Back on the road, they seek shelter in a gas station due to a tornado warning.

In Chapter 31, Irma holds a recruitment event at her hotel looking for seven men to bring back to Tres Camarones. 70 Mexicans turn up.

In Chapter 32, Nayeli and Tacho continue their road trip, reaching the Mississippi, and Tacho gets food poisoning. In Chapter 33, they arrive in Kankakee, Illinois to search for Nayeli’s father.
