Summary
In Act III, "Ethnic Recurring," Willis gets paid for playing Generic Asian Man in "the cop show" (81). When he receives the role of Special Guest Star, he feels hopeful. While shooting, he feels frustrated with Green and Turner's distracted flirting and unkindness towards him. They only refocus when Willis mentions missing Older Brother. When Willis describes him, the officers become convinced he had a motive to kill Dead Asian Man.
Willis then leads them to Golden Palace. He sees Old Asian Man, his father, cooking, noticing his frail, defeated appearance. While asking him questions about the murder, Willis tries asking if he is okay. Green and Turner then ask what the actual story is, surprising Willis; he thought they were incapable of worrying about him and his family.
