Summary

Chapter 42

After searching through janitors’ closets they find a ladder. The ladder can be used as a catwalk between buildings and into Erudite headquarters if they manage to break out the windows. Fernando has a glass cutting device that does the trick. Unfortunately, as he is crossing between the buildings he is spotted by a soldier and shot. Christina reaches out to save Fernando but he tells her not to be an idiot and to go on without him.

Chapter 43

Once inside the building Marcus says that they must go. Cara is chosen as the guide as she knows her way through the building.
