Summary
In Chapter 30, Aven avoided Connor at school and no-one commented on her blog post. She wrote another blog post talking about how “this is my life. I cannot change it” (202). Then she listed off the "twenty worst things about not having arms” (202).
In Chapter 31, Aven cried to her mom about how Connor “called me disabled” (206). Her mom suggested that she play her guitar for the art festival and Aven said that she’s “not some circus show” (209). She stormed out of the room and “sulked because Connor was right—I was disabled and no one would ever see me as anything else” (210). Her dad comforted her that night and she found an engraving in an old wagon that said “Aven was here” (214).
