Amargo

Located in Arizona Territory, Amargo is where the Lark family establishes their homestead. After Emmett and Nora marry, they move to Amargo to start their life and family together. Plagued by drought in the narrative present, Amargo presents its inhabitants, particularly Nora, no deficit of difficulties.
