Golden Years

Golden Years is the expensive nursing home that Mitsuki and Natsuki arrange for Noriko to stay in after she breaks her hip and shoulder. It is because of the way that Mitsuki decorated Noriko’s room in this nursing home that Noriko takes the time to thank her daughter. Noriko only lives at this nursing home about four months before she contracts aspiration pneumonia and is sent to the hospital.

Chitose Funabashi

Chitose Funabashi is the area in which Noriko and her husband bought property and built a house. It was one of the family’s most precious assets and was sold to pay for Noriko’s stay in the nursing home.
