Crystal Eagle, Dark Swan; Chapter 4-7 Summary

Chapter 4 continues with Claudia thinking about the fact that she is nothing more than a tool for her father. Claudia is not sure if he loves her, or her him, but knows that she fears him. Claudia is talking with Jared, her tutor, about her first betrothal to King's son, Giles. She was five when Giles died. She has a picture of the boy and remembers the one time that they met and how much she liked him. When Claudia learned that Giles had died she was sad over his death but furious that she was to marry Caspar in his place. Claudia believes that Giles' step mother, the Queen, killed the boy. Claudia has a piece of a letter than vaguely hints that she may have plotted Giles' murder. Jared reminds Claudia...
