Structure
In the Valleys of the Noble Beyond is divided into 3 parts and 9 chapters. The book also features an epilogue and a postscript, though only the epilogue is relevant to this guide and thus referred to herein. Zada is intentional in his structure, which assists the reader in building a mental geographical and emotional map of the region Zada confesses to having fallen in love with.
The book’s chapters progress in a broadly chronological order as the narrative’s progress mirrors Zada’s progress in his travels across British Columbia, searching for the Sasquatch.
