Summary
Chapter 5: “Koaye” sees Zada continue his journey into the most remote areas of British Columbia, this time venturing to a youth camp at the mouth of the Koeye River run by the Qqs Project Society, a Heiltsuk cultural and environmental nonprofit. The nonprofit is run by Larry Jorgensen and his wife, Marge Housty, a couple Zada met in Bella Bella on several weeks prior. Among the youth at the camp, Zada speaks to Rob Duncan, who has his own story of a Sasquatch sighting to tell. Duncan recalls the loud screams of the creature he heard while camping at the Koeye the previous summer.
