Summary
Chapter 21 is titled “To the City.” Bobi got to know a girl named Tanya. Bobi borrowed Granny's car (James took their car when he left) and she and Tanya drove to Atlanta for a concert. They consumed copious amounts of drugs and Bobi described feeling that she was even less sure of herself when she was with Tanya. Tanya spent the night in a motel with a man who sold her drugs, sleeping in the bed with the man's wife separating them.
Chapter 22 is titled “Faithful.” Bobi learned that James had slept with Tanya's roommate though James denied it because he was dating one of the few people Bobi counted as her friend. She began working at a health food store. She felt the need to forgive James but struggled with the reality of doing so. Another boy began to show interest but...
