Summary
The first page of this section shows a photo of Neil in 1969 with his mother. They were in Scotland, and Neil was wearing a kilt. In Chapter 41, Neil's mother arrived to visit. Neil remembered the day he told her that he was some $2 million in debt. Neil's mother had given him $200,000 of the money he had lost. She had cried, partly because she did not have the money to help him get out of this situation. She pledged to take the children to visit Neil as often as possible. She advised him to rethink his plan to move to Memphis – the largest town near Oxford – saying that he would not be able to see the children daily unless he lived in Oxford.
