Tortall

Tortall is the kingdom ruled by King Roald and his family. It borders Tusaine and eventually goes to war with the neighboring kingdom.

Tusaine

Tusaine is the kingdom next to Tortall. The Tusaine delegation comes to Tortall to see if King Roald is too weak to stop them from taking over land. They determine that he is and they launch an attack to take land across the river from Tortall. The Dukes of Tusaine are taken hostage by Jonathan and are ransomed back to Tusaine's King Ain, which enables Roald to end the war and live up to his name as The Peacemaker.
