Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation

Jimmy lives on the Rosebud Sioux Indian Reservation. Most of the descriptions are focused on the geography and location. Jimmy lives in town, in a modular home that is two blocks from the reservation school he attends. His grandfather Nyles lives nearby and raises horses.

Little Bighorn

Little Bighorn is the site of a huge battle between the white soldiers and the Indians, including Crazy Horse. The Lakota had set up an enormous village of 1,000 lodges in an area they called Greasy Grass. The soldiers attacked the village but were turned back repeatedly by the Indians encamped there. The site is large, covering several miles with various terrain, including a spot called Last Stand Hill.
