Section 4: Chs. 55-57 Summary
Chapter 55
The HMS Juno pulls into New York, en route to Boson, to let the girls off the ship. Sylvie's boyfriend, Henry, arrives to find them alive. He takes Sylvie with him to tell everyone else the girls are alive. Jacky reflects that they just might be married by the end of the night.
Chapter 56
Jaimy writes a letter to Jacky explaining how they found out the girls were alive. He writes of seeing Sylvie and Henry and going to the school to inform Higgins and Pimm that the girls are alive. Pimm is stoic as always. Sylvie tells the tale of their adventure and everyone is shocked.
Chapter 57
The ship pulls into Boston Harbor and the girls are treated with cheers. Jacky reflects that the captain of the Juno can't wait for them to leave because his ship...
