Chapters 10-14 Summary

In chapter ten, Harry tells Catherine how he made it to the party, and asks her for a ride home. Manhattan is very far, but they talk and joke along the way, even though they make many wrong turns towards the city. She tells him that her mother took her to see a play when she was young, which is when she decided to become an actress and singer. He finally stops them at a diner where they eat.
