Summary
After hearing Brian’s wish to find a way to end his life before the Alzheimer’s became unmanageable, Amy contacted End of Life Choices New York. She provides information about the right to die in the United States and what it would entail for Brian. Amy struggles to process the information but she reveals her interest in Dignitas and the representative encourages her. Their first step is to provide documentation that Brian is of sound mind and does not have a history of depression that could drive him to seek out assisted suicide. She assures Amy that Dignitas is a legitimate organization.
