In Chapter 19, two kids enter Flick's Tavern. Flick gives them a hard time, but serves them a glass of water. After the kids leave, Ralph tells Flick that one of the boys looked suspicious. He explains, "I know a Root Beer Barrel Man when I see one. Did you notice that suspicious bulge in his right cheek? I suspect that he was loaded."
