Summary
The narration describes Chandni Chowk as even more crowded, even more noisy, and even more smelly than the bus station. Deven becomes increasingly angry and increasingly anxious as the office boy assigned to take him to Nur takes longer and longer to reach the destination, taking more and more detours. Eventually, the boy takes him to the right house, leading Deven to believe that he is not reliving his nightmare, but that his journey might actually come to an end.
After the boy disappears, Deven knocks on the door. An elderly voice cries out that whoever is knocking must be a fool for disturbing the rest of an elderly man.
