Summary
The following morning, Linda and Bobby were invited to spend the afternoon with the colonel. The colonel began to level accusations against his worker, Peter, accusing him of wanting to murder him. While they initially accepted, the colonel's increasingly erratic behavior prompted them to leave, fill their car with petrol, and continue on with their journey. During the drive, Bobby thought of giving a ride to an African, saying it was something he always did, but did not for Linda's sake. They came across an accident, which is revealed to be where the king was captured, and Linda claimed was murdered as well.
