Summary
Continuing the drive, Bobby and Linda spoke of the growing tensions and their own place amongst them, with Linda arguing that it was never their country to begin with. They spoke at length of the king, who still had English friends who had probably spoken to him about his need to lead the country, but were no where to be found now. Stopping for gas, Bobby became incensed by a king's tribesman who destroyed the windows while trying to clean the windows. Despite Bobby's credentials, the two are stopped by the police, who went through their luggage, especially Linda's, to ensure they were not smuggling arms. This incident increased their anxiety.
