Chapter 49-54 Summary

In Chapter 49, Conner's parents remind Dr. Starr that they want Conner to maintain good grades to get a law degree. Likewise, Conner's mother is horrified he'll have to take prescription medication, valuing the family's reputation above Conner's health. They leave a few moments later, and Dr. Starr upgrades Conner to Level Three.

In Chapter 50, Tony's father apologizes for not being around more, and speaks to God, asking for forgiveness. God works through Tony's father, telling him that first he needs to ask Tony for forgiveness. Tony says he'll think about it. Tony says letting a decade of anger go is a really hard test.

In Chapter 51, now that Vanessa's mental condition has been outed by her grandmother, Dr. Starr presses to get everything out in the open, saying that progress cannot be made until everything is open. Vanessa continues to hide...
