Chapter 7-12, Conner to Vanessa Summary
In Chapter 7, Paul arrives in Conner's room to see if he is settled in. Paul also brings gray sweats, which Conner will wear everyday except for Sunday services or when his parents visit. Conner is then brought to Dr. Starr, whom Conner describes as a bulldog. Dr. Starr asks why Conner thinks he is at Aspen Springs. Conner lies that he was simply fooling around with the gun. Dr. Starr is unimpressed, and says if Conner thinks it's a game, she can play better.
