Summary
After Reyna leaves her aunt’s apartment and moves back into her own place, she hears stories in the neighborhood about Lynnette, who is grieving the death of her brother, Claude. She hears that at first Lynnette talked non-stop, leaving ranting voicemails, but now she is quiet and talking to no one. Finally she went back to work at the salon, and it seems the return to a normal routine has helped. Reyna tells her aunt about breaking up with Boyd. Her aunt acts like it is a good thing. Reyna knows she will never understand about Boyd.
Reyna comes up with the idea to help Lynnette with with an initial investment on a storefront, something that Claude was saving up to do. She will send her the money anonymously. Reyna feels uplifted by this idea to help Lynnette. She knows it will not...
