Summary
Kiki knows her niece Reyna is having some sort of trouble with her boyfriend. She can tell their relationship is not reciprocal. Kiki wants Reyna to be with someone who treats her well. Kiki knows the risks of lecturing her niece. She thinks about all the times Reyna asked about Osman, asking why she left him and feels bad for never answering her niece’s question. Kiki then reflects back about her time with Osman.
For Kiki, the best time with Osman was their time together in Istanbul when he was working as a carpet seller. After they moved to the farm was when their relationship started to go downhill.
